Kime Karate joined the 100 Kata for Karate Day Challenge again this year, hosted by ZA Shotokan, an international martial arts event, led from Okinawa, the home of kobudo and karate.
The 100 kata challenge was held again at the Nan Hua Temple in Bronkhorstspruit. All the proceeds was donated to underprivileged children.
We managed to do 100 Kata in 1 hour and 10 minutes! We had some students performing Heian Shodan, Heian Nidan and Heian Sandan. Each group successfully performed their kata 100 times.
A big thank you to all the karatekas and parents who came out to join in!
